We promoted hundreds of music events featuring international acts and introducing fresh new talent. Others have tried to follow in our footsteps but fall short by failing to recognize it is our own music community that has the wealth of talent readers want to connect to.

It has become clear that the Morongo Basin is ready for the same effort and we are bringing DR back to do what only it can. Connect fans to the music all around them they don’t even know exists! We will excite readers with features on amazing local music artists and bring them stories about issues that matter to them that they can’t find anywhere else. Readers can count on a comprehensive entertainment calendar with accurate information guiding them to shows and venues featuring all genres of music.

This February 2008, Desert Rhythms will return and our first issue dedicated to the music of the California high desert in the Morongo Basin. We will provide comprehensive coverage of music events and a complete guide to live music in the Coachella Valley, Morongo Basin, Inland Empire and Southern California. We will print 10,000 copies distributed to over 200 locations.
